Inspection of Threaded Fittings
Surface defects: Check whether there are cracks, sand holes, shrinkage holes, slag inclusions, delamination, heavy skin, depressions, rust and other defects on the surface of the pipe fittings. These defects will affect the strength and sealing of the pipe fittings.
Dimension inspection: Use calipers, vernier calipers, tape measures and other tools to check whether the nominal diameter, wall thickness, length, end face, etc. of the pipe fittings meet the requirements of the design drawings or relevant standards (such as ASME B16.11).
Thread quality: Check whether the thread profile is complete and clear, and whether there are missing teeth, irregular teeth, burrs, knife marks and other phenomena.
Marking inspection: Check whether the manufacturer’s logo, material brand, furnace batch number, size, pressure level and other markings on the pipe fittings are clear, accurate and complete, and consistent with relevant certificates and documents.

What is Hot-Dip Galvanizing?
Hot-dip galvanizing, is a very common and effective method of preventing corrosion on steel. Its basic principle is to dip cleaned steel products into a molten zinc solution, and through the metallurgical reaction between zinc and iron, a dense layer of zinc alloy and pure zinc is formed on the surface of the steel, thus providing protection.
