MSS SP-83 Threaded Union is an active pipe connection fitting with the feature of easy for assemble and disassemble. Generally, a complete union shall consist of three parts: male end, female end, and nut. The two ends connect two pipes and the nut connects the two ends like a coupling. MSS SP-83 Threaded Union are common used in small diameter pipes and pressure is tacitly 3000lb for general purpose industry applications. However, Class 6000 Union is common for high pressure applications.

It can be provided in all standard metals or combination of metals. Stainless Steel 316 Threaded union has beautiful appearance, good corrosion resistance and long service life. ASTM A105 Threaded Union is economical and has great strength and hardiness and can withstand high temperatures and pressure, but is also susceptible to corrosion. A182 F22 Threaded Union NPT has light weight, good heat resistance and high impact resistance.

Coating is important for carbon steel because it improve the corrosion resistance. Carbon steel threaded union can have longer service life with Anti rust oil or galvanized surface.
