Raised Face Blind Pipe Flange is the most common blind type that used to seal the end of pipe systems or pressure vessel openings. It has FF and RTJ Face Sealing Type.

The Character is no hole in the center, but still has mounting holes around the perimeter, and the gasket sealing rings are machined into the mating surface.

ASTM A105N Blind Pipe Flange Functions

The BLRF flange can connect pipelines and keep sealing. It is also convenient for changing one section of pipes. The pipeline which needed disassemble to inspection is also suitable for it.

In terms of the sealing pipes, it has the same function as Pipe Cap and Plug. But pipe caps and plugs are not able to disassemble, while RF blind flange are connected to pipe with stud bolts, is easy to dismantle. How We Manufacture Forged Flange

It mainly has forging and casting two technology to manufacture.

Blind Pipe Flange Dimensions

ANSI B16.5 Flange Dimensions

When a raised face is necessary for ASME B16.5 Blind Pipe flange, the standard height is 1/16″ for flanges under 400#. For Blind Pipe Flanges of 400# and up, the standard raised face height is 1/4″.

ASME B16.5 is the standard for pipe flange and flange fittings. ASME B16.47 blind flange is also available. This standard is applicable to large diameter of steel flanges.

Alloy steel has high cost performance. Its strength and mechanical performance is good. And its corrosion prevention is good as well.
