EN1092-1 Standard
EN 1092-1 is the European standard for circular steel flanges with nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 4000. EN1092-1 Type 11 Flanges
Type 11 flanges, as defined in EN 1092-1, are welding neck flanges with a raised face and serrated finish. These flanges feature:
- Long tapered hub that provides stress distribution
- Welding bevel for butt welding to piping
- Raised face (typically 1-2 mm height)
- Serrated finish (spiral or concentric grooves) for improved gasket retention
