Forged Steel Pipe Fittings Socket Weld Elbow

A105 Socket Weld Elbow

Forged Steel Pipe Fittings — Socket Weld Elbow

Socket Weld Elbow is mainly produced and forged by the round steel or ingot molded, and then processed to a high-pressure connection fittings of pipe elbow by lathe machine. It is commonly in forged steel pipe fittings socket weld series. And can bear highest pressure which up to 9000LB since it is forged. So we also call it as high pressure pipe elbow. The standards are GB/T14383, ASME B16.11 and petrochemical standard SH3410, chemical standard HG/T21634. According to form, it has 45 degree socket weld elbow and 90 degree socket weld elbow. For the specifications of commonly standard, the size are DN6 (1/8”) DN100 (4”). Usually the order specification is DN15 (1/2”)~ DN100 (4”). If beyond the specifications, and we can process as customer’s drawings.

The pressure rating are

  • 3000LB, 6000LB, 9000LB.

And matching the pipe thickness grades are

  • SCH80, SCH160, XXS accordingly.

The material are

  • Carbon Steel (A105 Pipe Elbow SW),
Alloy Steel ( A182 F22 Pipe Elbow SW) and
Stainless Steel (A182 F316  Pipe Elbow SW).

Forged Steel Socket Weld Elbow is applicable to petrochemical, medical and health, electric power, aerospace, military, fire, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, nuclear power, and environmental protection requirements such as high pressure, precision and other departments and fields.
