BSPP VS BSPT

Both BSPP and BSPT belong to BSP threads, but what do they mean? Do you know their differences?

BSPT—British Standard Pipe Taper. It is tapered threads as NPT thread but its angle cross the flanks of threads is 55 degrees. It is popular in Asia, especially in south east Asia.

BSPP— British Standard Pipe Parallel. It is more prevalent in UK, Europe, Australia and South Africa. This parallel thread uses a bonded seal ring to do the sealing.
