• The inspection is operate according to MSS SP-97
• Check the surface with hands and eyes.
• Measure the dimensions of face of fitting, OD of fitting, socket wall, depth and cut hole diameter and check if they are in tolerance.
• Third party inspection: BV, SGS, LR, DNV, ABS and Stamp the mill test certificate.

Weldolet VS Sockolet

Weldolet is basic and the most popular type of of branch connection pipe fittings. Sockolet has similar shape to weldolet.

However, sockolet belongs to socket weld fittings and the dimension is available in 1/8” to 4” class 3000, 6000 and 9000, while weldolet has larger dimension ranges and is welded to pipes.
